Academic updates

Students and teachers have settled into routines and classes are fully engaged! Homework help and tutoring are available for students in DCS and MHS on a regular basis. If your student needs assistance, please reach out to their teacher(s). Keeping up with class assignments and routinely turning in homework are the keys to success at all grades!

Extracurricular activities

Extracurriculars are in full swing! Fall sports at MHS include cross country, girls volleyball, football and cheer. DCS athletics have also begun with volleyball and soccer try-outs. Do not feel discouraged if you did not make the team, there will be more opportunities as the year goes on.

The DCS Speech and Debate team is gearing up for their first tournament- we wish them the best of luck!

Health and safety updates

All three schools participated in practice fire drills this month. I was very impressed with the level of seriousness and focus I saw among our students. They knew what to do, where to go and how to get to the field safely. We will continue to have routine drills throughout the year.

Community events and involvement

Homecoming Week is fast approaching and we need your help! This year's theme is Fairy Tales. Be sure to look out for more specific information by school to see how you can get involved. The parade will be on Friday, October 3rd at 2 PM @ Downtown Tracy. Hope to see you all there!
