Welcome Back!!

Hello and welcome back TLC students, parents, families, staff and community! I hope you all had an enjoyable break and are ready to embark on another amazing school year. The entire TLC staff was on site last week working hard to ensure a smooth first day and a great school year. Here are a few reminders to ensure a seamless start to the new year:

* PLEASE follow ALL established carline routes and procedures. Believe, me, it works!!! I ask for your patience this week as new families and students become accustomed to the routine. 

*PLEASE be kind, courteous and respectful to our neighbors. Do not block driveways, do not move cones or garbage cans, and follow all traffic and parking rules. 

*The parking lot in front of the school is for STAFF ONLY.  Parking spots are marked as "Reserved," meaning staff only.

*The MHS parking lot is also for STAFF ONLY. It is not a student pick-up/drop-off spot, please refrain from using it as such. 

*This week we are faced with a heat wave. I would like to assure you that we follow all established weather guidelines established by the CA Department of Public Health. Students are kept indoors in extreme heat (or cold), during lunch, PE, and recess. We have water refiling stations on campus and encourage everyone to stay hydrated. 

*Thank you to all who attended Discovery's Back to School Night last week. It was a packed house! Lots of great information was shared by Ms. Cerezo and Ms. Zaca. If you missed the presentation, check out Discovery's Parent Square page. The entire slide show has been posted. 

*Millennium's Back to School Night is Tuesday, August 11, 2026, 6PM
*Primary's Back to School Night is Friday, August 14, 2026, 5PM
